Who Are We?

Disclosed Recordings is a recording studio based in the heart of lutruwita/Tasmania.

We work with artists at all stages of their journey, offering a relaxed, collaborative space to create and capture music. Whether you're tracking a full-length album, filming a live session, or recording your first demo, we’re here to help you bring your ideas to life.

Our studio is built inside a converted office space and equipped for both audio and video production. We also run original series like Sunday Sesh and Cozy Acoustics, showcasing local talent with high-quality live performances filmed and recorded in-house.

Tim Broxton

Tim is the founder of Disclosed Recordings and the person you'll probably see (or hear) the most around the studio.

With over a decade of experience in the music and audio industry, he brings a calm, practical approach to both sound and video production.

Tim handles everything from recording and mixing to filming and editing, working closely with artists to help bring their ideas to life.

With a background in both music and audio, his focus is on making the creative process feel easy, honest, and collaborative.

Tim has worked with a broad mix of artists over the years, from lo-fi folk projects recorded in a single afternoon to loud, chaotic full-band sessions that stretch late into the night.

He’s been behind the controls for psych-rock experiments, stripped-back acoustic takes, and sharp, polished indie-pop releases.

Whether it’s tracking live in the room or stitching together a record over weeks of mixing, the focus is always the same: making something that feels real and hits the right nerve.
