This one’s got a split personality, in the best way. On one side, the Heritage Bar: cozy, wood-panelled, made for acoustic charmers, folk whisperers, jazz noodlers, and heartstring-pullers. On the other, the Oak Shed: a larger, louder realm where full bands summon the noise and punters actually buy tickets.
Capacity: 160 warm bodies, ideally moving rhythmically.
Gear: Yep. PA, lights, the whole deal. (Tech specs available for those fluent in XLR.)
Genres: Open slather—just be good.
Acoustic or Full Band?: Both, depending on the room.

A true dive with a pulse. Gritty, loud, and leaning proudly punk/metal. This place doesn’t host gigs—it survives them. You’ll find an in-house stage, hired-in backline, and a deep respect for noise with teeth.
Capacity: 180 ticketed souls, plus room for your drummer’s ego.
Genres: All genres welcome!
Setup: 3–4 bands per night, Fridays or Saturdays only. Must include 1–2 locals. Acoustic acts might sneak in early if they’re the right kind of raw.

A riverside glasshouse with surprising sonic guts. It’s clean, it’s classy, but don’t let the serenity fool you... there’s room here for chaos (within reason).
Ideal for acoustic sets, duos, or anything vibey that plays nice with the view. Want to plug in a full band? You’ll want to bring an engineer or a friendly wizard.
Capacity: Up to 250 standing, give or take a couch or twelve.

Yamaha DM3 mixer (runs the ship day-to-day)

If you're not sure whether your setup will work, just ask. The venue's flexible, and they know people (as do you), so don’t let a mixer manual stop the magic.

A pub with a pulse, a proper stage, and enough Guinness to drown your pre-show nerves. Irish Murphys is big—like, 400 bodies bouncing big—and built for noise. The usual fare is high-energy covers (play the hits, they’ll sing every word), but they occasionally dim the lights and let DJs or original acts take over.
Capacity: 400 loose units, fully legal.
In-House Gear: Full PA, lights, backline. No need to BYO unless you’re cursed.
Genres/Vibe: Mostly covers, but open to DJs and originals for special events.
Acoustic or Full Band?: Both welcome. Just bring the energy.

Dim lights. Cold drinks. Pub classics. That’s the vibe. The Star Bar isn’t trying to reinvent the wheel—it just wants someone strumming something nice while the Friday crowd sips Pinot and slowly forgets the week. Think background music with backbone. Saturdays go a little louder, a little later, and might just make your snare drum feel wanted.
Capacity: 400 warm humans, wine in hand.
In-House Gear: Lights that dim. Power outlets that work. BYO the rest.
Genres/Vibe: Chill acoustic on Fridays (5–8pm), pub bands on Saturdays (8:30–11:30pm).
